This second lesson comprises five sections:

  • Section 1. Firstly, you can watch the presentation “Why are we linguistically submissive?” by Prof. Ferran Suay. 
  • Section 2. After that, you can read the document about linguistic submissiveness.  It gives an overview of what was talked about in the presentation of Prof. Ferran Suay. 
  • Section 3. This is a short test to determine for yourself whether you have understood the material that was illustrated previously. 
  • Section 4. This is a short animation about the topic. 
  • Section 5. Consists of one video about learned helplessness, one important concept to understand to change one’s behaviour.
