LISTEN special event in Caernarfon on language assertiveness

Partners of the LISTEN project are holding a reception at Galeri Caernarfon at 5.00 pm on Thursday 24th March where there will be a chance for all who are interested to learn more about Language Assertiveness Training.

The speakers will be Professor Ferran Suay who first developed Linguistic Assertiveness training in Valencia. Kathryn Jones will talk about how IAITH: Welsh Centre for Language Planning is developing language assertiveness training in Wales. Jeremy Evas, head of Project 2050 at Welsh Government, will speak about how Language Assertiveness fits with other Welsh Government initiatives to increase the social use of Welsh. Other members of the LISTEN project from the North of Ireland, Fryslan, Transylvania and Valencia will also be on hand to talk about the developments in their own contexts.
